Dr. Denise Dianne Ginex
Dr. Denise Ginex is a 1991 graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and a 1992 intern at the University of Illinois Small Animal Medical and Surgical Internship. She began her undergraduate education at the University of South Florida before completing her B.S. in Zoology at the University of Florida in 1986. She worked for 15 years as an emergency clinician and later became Chief of Staff at the Tampa Bay Veterinary Emergency Service in the Tampa Bay Veterinary Specialists group in Largo, Florida. She left in 2008 to open South Tampa Veterinary Care to focus on preventative care.
She is a Tampa native who grew up in South Tampa and attended Tampa Catholic High School. She has been a SOG since 1993 and was proud to open her business so near her home. Dr. Ginex served in the US Army Reserve, AMEDD, for eight years after graduation and now to fills in at the Veterinary Treatment Facility at MacDill Air Force Base. She is married and is the mother of two children, two dogs, and three cats.
